Justine Siemens, the Victim and Survivor of Benjamin Foster’s Horrific Strike

Netflix’s much-awaited show “Worst Ex Ever” is a docuseries that delves deep into the violent and monstrous stories involving ex-partners. The first episode of the docuseries features the horrifying tale of Justine Siemens and her perpetrator, Benjamin Foster.

The first episode, “Dating The Devil,” has garnered considerable attention from viewers because of its relatability and the grim nature of the activities it features.

It focuses on the scene that took place in Grants Pass and Las Vagas, which involved three victims and survivors.

Justine Siemens is one of the victims and survivors of Benjamin Foster’s horrific action.

Justine Siemens’s Friend Angie Discovered Her in a Critical Condition

The episode starts with Justine’s friend Angie Milner, who takes us through the incident on the night of January 24th.

Angie was the person who found Justine in a harrowing condition at Justine’s own house. She called 911 for an emergency and guided the police and officials through the scene.

Moreover, when she was able to get into Justine’s house, Ben was present there. On asking Ben about Justine, he said that Justine had a heart attack and fled the offense scene.

Angie discovered Siemens with a noose around her neck, bruises all over her body, and her teeth knocked out.

Eventually, Justine was rushed to hospital. Ben had beaten Justine so badly that she was in a critical condition and was in a coma.

Milner said she feared that her friend would either perish or be in a vegetative state. After the incident on Siemens, Ben was the subject of a statewide manhunt.

To evade capture, Ben hid himself in Sun Valley and used online dating apps to either ask for someone to help him or target his next victim.

He also altered his appearance and was accused of assassinating Richard Lee Barron Jr and Ronald Griffith. Police couldn’t clear this accusation as Ben passed away shortly after a self-inflicted shot wound.

This episode helped this case gain more popularity and became a topic of online discussion among viewers.

Siemens Shares Her Experience With Ben And Recalls The Vicious Attack

In late 2022, while working at an Oregon bar, Justine met Ben and instantly hit it off. She describes her relationship with Ben as a casual relationship that lasts for around two months.

Furthermore, Justine mentioned that she didn’t see any red flags in Ben because he was nice to her.

However, one incident made her start doubting him. One day, Ben came by Angie’s house and asked for clean urine, as he said he had to pass a urinalysis test.

This made Siemens curious, as a urinalysis test is usually required only when someone is in trouble with the law.

Eventually, she searched for Ben’s name on the Internet and found out about Ben’s unlawful past history in Las Vegas.

This discovery shocked Siemens, who thought of reporting it to her boss. She did the right thing because it is harmful for a person with such a criminal past to work freely, serving the general public in the bar.

The boss fired Ben from the job immediately. But little did Justine know that her action would enrage Ben so much that he would inflict unspeakable distress on her.

Finally, Justine stopped hanging out with Ben. After 1 month of being fired from his job, Ben attacked Justine in her own home.

Ben held her captive and continuously assaulted her for three days. His attack was so brutal that it left Justine with traumatic brain damage.

Justine is immensely grateful for her friend Angie. If she hadn’t rushed to visit Justine’s home that day, Justine probably wouldn’t have survived.

Siemens also revealed that she had to learn to re-walk because of her muscle trophies, as well as had her teeth done because Ben had punched out all of her teeth.

Ben’s first victim, Amber, reveals her dissatisfaction with the justice system, stating:

“In my opinion, I think that the justice system here did a great disservice to Justine. Ben was obviously getting increasingly more abusive and increasingly more dangerous. If they would have taken my story and Jaimee (another victim)’s story more seriously, they could have prevented this from happening to her, and they could have saved two lives.”

Additional Information

  • Justine recently went on a leisure trip to Hawaii and Costa Rica, which really shows her resilience and optimism.
  • Benjamin was previously apprehended on the charges of Domestic cruelty.
  • Siemens’ friend has described Justine as the most talented and strongest person in the docuseries.
