In addition to this ongoing speculation, Kristi Noem also faced a lawsuit earlier this year over a viral dental video she shared on X.
In that video, she promoted a cosmetic dentistry company and showed off work on her teeth.
The lawsuit claims that Noem acted as a social media influencer while she was serving as Governor.
In a five-minute video, she praised “the team at Smile Texas,” a cosmetic dental office, for fixing her teeth and giving her a smileĀ that she saidĀ she could be proud of.

However, Noem has stated that the posts were not paid promotions. The judge later dismissed the complaint, ruling that Travelers United failed to provide proof of service for the lawsuit.
