At 35 years of age, Oran Routh, son of Ryan Wesley Routh, has faced apprehension for his alleged involvement in the distribution of explicit content involving minors.
On September 24, 2024, authorities charged the 35-year-old Oran in federal court in North Carolina and took him into custody.
Oran is the son of the infamous Ryan Routh, who authorities recently arrested for the attempted homicide of former U.S. President Donald Trump.
As a result, the internet has been buzzing with discussions about the Routh family, labeling them as a family with a history of criminal records.
However, Ryan hasn’t listed an attorney and remains in custody while awaiting trial. If convicted, he might face a sentence of life behind bars.
Authorities found Oran Routh in possession of minor explicit content during an investigation of his North Carolina home!
On September 21, 2024, the FBI searched Oran’s North Carolina home in connection with an unrelated case and found explicit content on his phone.

According to the FBI, Oran’s memory card in a Samsung phone in his bedroom had hundreds of files containing minor inappropriate treatment content.
Additionally, there was a second Samsung phone in his possession, with additional video files of inappropriate exploitation.
Moreover, investigators also found a messaging application on his phone used in the distribution of the said minor digital content.
Oran had been using the aforementioned messaging app to share illegal content involving minor.
Furthermore, authorities discovered that Routh possessed substances. Likewise, reports reveal his involvement in multiple criminal cases during his 17 years in North Carolina.
Considering that the criminal had been exploiting minors as young as 6 years of age has been horrifying to the public.
The offender will make his first appearance in the federal court of North Carolina on Tuesday afternoon.
