Suspect in the Trump Case, Ryan Wesley Routh and His Wife Lora W. Routh Tied the Knot in 1989
The attempted homicide suspect involving former U.S. President Donald Trump, Ryan Wesley Routh, and his wife Lora’s married life didn’t last long, and they divorced in 2003.
On September 15, the Secret Service agents released at least four rounds at Routh, who was allegedly hiding with a firearm in bushes at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
According to the media, Routh reportedly aimed to attack Trump through a fence while he was playing golf nearby with Steve Witkoff.
The suspect fled from the scene but was later apprehended and taken into custody with two offenses.
Furthermore, the FBI announced that Routh did not discharge his firearm, and his motive is under investigation.
Ryan Wesley Routh and His Wife Lora Raised Three Children in North Carolina!
According to the suspect’s neighbor, Ryan and Lora raised three children in their North Carolina home until their separation in 2003.
Despite their divorce, Lora allowed him to remain in the home while spending years chasing him through the courts for child support for their kids, Sara, Adam, and Oran.
Moreover, in 1990, the couple worked together to renovate an old house to create a family home.

Based on her LinkedIn, Lora graduated from Guilford Technical Community College with an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree.
Therefore, she serves the position of a paralegal and brings over 2 decades of experience to the role.
Additionally, one of his sons, Adam, claimed immediately after the incident saying it was not something his father would do.
Whereas the couple’s other son, Oran, added, saying
Ryan is my father, and I don’t have any comment beyond a character profile of him as a loving and caring father, and honest, hardworking man. I don’t know what’s happened in Florida, and I hope things have just been blown out of proportion, because from the little I’ve heard, it doesn’t sound like the man I know to do anything crazy, much less violent. He’s a good father, and a great man, and I hope you can portray him in an honest light.
Hence, this bold statement from his son highlights the strong bond and affection between the father and his sons.
Furthermore, Ryan is believed to be engaged with Kathleen Shaffer, who lived with him in Kaawa on Oahu.
As per a since-deleted GoFundMe, Kathleen referred to Ryan as her fiancé and shared the same mailing address in Honolulu County, Hawaii.
