Georgian Model Kesaria Abramidze’s Boyfriend Beka Jaiani, The Primary Suspect of The Tragic Incident

In the tragic turn of events, Georgian Trans model Kesaria Abramidze was found lifeless in her apartment a day after the Parliament of Georgia passed the anti-LGBTQ+ law. Her boyfriend has been apprehended as the prime suspect in the incident.

Kesaria Abramidze, born August 18, 1987, was a well-known Georgian transgender model, actress, and blogger.

She received international recognition as the first transgender person in Georgia to come out.

Later, in 2014, Kesaria decided to go through with a gender reassignment surgery. Additionally, she became the face of the fight for minorities in the conservative Georgian society.

She competed in the Miss Trans Global beauty pageant in 2018. There, she represented her country and also became a host in Rustavi 2’s First House show.

Through her advocacy and visibility, she became a well-known activist in the fight for transgender rights in Georgia.

Argument Leads to Kesaria Abramidze’s Fatal Aggression by Boyfriend Beka Jaiani

On the morning of September 19, the Georgian authorities detained Beka Jaiani for his implication in the fatal onslaught on Kesaria Abramidze.

The tragic incident allegedly happened when the couple was involved in a heated argument in the context of their relationship.

Multiple sources state that Beka was upset when Abramidze posted a picture revealing their relationship a few hours before the incident.

Beka, who worked as a bouncer at a nightclub, wanted to remain out of the public eye in their relationship.

According to her friends, Beka had a long time of difficulty coming out to accept their relationship, which compounded the existing issues between the two.

The CCTV recording showed Jaiani coming inside and out of Abramidze’s flat within a brief period, in which the severe beating occurred.

Abramidze’s neighbors reportedly heard a fight and soon after discovered her unconscious body.

Officials said that the Beka attacked her savagely, and in the process, she suffered multiple spike injuries.

The unfolding incident had more to reveal and further detail the incident. Jaiani now faces extremely serious legal consequences, including a 16–20-year sentence or a life sentence in prison.

The case has garnered a lot of attention, and there is widespread discontent about this sin, particularly concerning LGBTQ+ people.
