Therefore, New York’s 2016 Tribeca Film Festival withdrew the film, as the festival’s founder, Robert De Niro, whose son has autism, refused to include it in the festival.
Epidemiology professor and director of the Center for Infection and Immunity at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, Ian Lipkin, said:
“If Vaxxed had been submitted as science fiction, it would merit attention for its story line, character development and dialogue. But as a documentary it misrepresents what science knows about autism, undermines public confidence in the safety and efficacy of vaccines, and attacks the integrity of legitimate scientists and public-health officials”.

Macpherson revealed that she rented a house in Arizona for eight months and “holistically treated” her cancer.
The treatment was done under the guidance of her primary doctor, a doctor of naturopathy, holistic dentist, osteopath, chiropractor and two therapists.
Despite cancer treatments centers around surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, Elle was strongly advocating holistically treating cancer.
This enraged a lot of people, including physicians and health advocates.
Similarly, her co-founded health supplement company WelleCo sells “super elixirs,” alkalizing powders made of turmeric, mushrooms, horsetail extract, and barley grass.
Many public figures and celebrities were promoting “super elixirs.” Kate Moss even claimed that she was adding the powders to her morning juice drink.
Elle religiously promotes her wellness products on Instagram and discusses her health and wellness journey.
Her supporters believe the alkaline diet is great for the skin, treats osteoporosis, and can even prevent cancer.
This has led many health professionals to speak up and inform people that the alkaline diet is a pseudoscience.
In 2021, Elle’s spokesperson confirmed that Elle and Andrew had ended their relationship, stating,
“As a spokesperson for Elle I can unequivocally confirm that the relationship between Elle and Dr Wakefield terminated almost two years ago.”
