Cooper Koch, an American actor who recently gained popularity as Erik Menéndez in the Netflix crime drama series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story hasn’t revealed anything about his partner yet.
Cooper Koch has acted in many queer movies, like A New York Christmas Wedding in 2020, the slasher film They/Them, and the horror film Swallowed in 2022.
Born on July 16, 1996, in Los Angeles, Cooper Koch belongs to a family where everyone is involved in the film industry.
In 2007, he got his first on-screen acting credit for the film Fracture, produced by his grandfather, Hawk Koch.
He graduated with a BFA in Acting from Pace School of Performing Arts in New York City in May 2018.

In an interview with Where is The Buzz in 2022, he said,
“It’s incredibly important, it’s vital. And it’s dangerous not to (normalize it). There are states in our country (USA) where conversion therapy is still legal. And that brings tears to my eyes. It’s so scary and dangerous to be telling people and forcing people not to be who they truly are.”
On Edge Media Network, Cooper mentioned that there was a time in college when he had doubts about being openly out.
Cooper also opened up about bullying and problematic comments he received for being gay. He feared he wouldn’t be taken seriously or cast in films.
However, Cooper mentioned that he learned that he won’t be able to play anyone else, regardless of their identity, if he can’t be himself.
He is grateful that he got the opportunity to be cast in queer films and represent the community. However, he revealed that he wants to try on new roles.
Cooper Koch Turned His Trailer Similar to Erik Menendez’s Bedroom to Get Into Character
Cooper Koch is really passionate about acting, and to get into character, he watched all the videos related to Lyle and Erik Menendez’s case.
In an interview with TheWrap, Cooper said,
“I turned my trailer into Erik’s room so I had clothes everywhere, and I had pictures of him on the wall.”
After watching the case religiously and reading about the parental abuse, he mentioned that he feels grateful for his family.
Cooper Koch, along with Kim Kardashian, reportedly visited Erik and Lyle Menéndez in prison when Erik released a statement via his wife slamming the Netflix series as a dishonest portrayal.
Cooper Koch doesn’t have an active Instagram, as he seems to keep his personal life private.
However, he occasionally appears in his co-star Nicholas Chavez’s feed and his twin brother Payton Koch’s posts.
