Kirsty Crooks, who previously faced legal action for allegedly accessing her ex-boyfriend’s computer files illegally, has now been cleared following her final hearing at Laganside Magistrates Court in Belfast.
Kirsty and her ex-boyfriend, Stephen Hollywood, were together for three years before their 2023 separation.
The 26-year-old allegedly discovered that her ex-boyfriend, Stephen Hollywood, had been sharing explicit pictures of women on Snapchat with one of his relatives.
Caught red-handed by his then-girlfriend, Stephen Hollywood tried to win back Kirsty Crooks after the incident.
What’s even more shocking is that while Stephen Hollywood engaged in these actions behind his partner’s back, he also filed charges against Kirsty Crooks for allegedly accessing his personal files.
Kirsty Disclosed That Her Ex-Boyfriend Shared His Password To The Account, Giving Her Full Permission
Kirsty Crooks faced court trials after Stephen Hollywood filed charges against her, but she appeared confident throughout the legal proceedings.
The 26-year-old Kirsty Crooks told the court that Stephen Hollywood had shared his account password with her, giving her full permission to access it.
Crooks then confessed how she discovered the pictures on his Snapchat, a platform for which he had shared the password with her, stating:
You don’t do that if you don’t want someone to access your things.
Additionally, Stephen Hollywood had repeatedly tried to reconcile with Kirsty Crooks, sending her messages and requesting to meet up, despite her clear rejections.
Since Stephen had voluntarily shared his account details with her, Crooks accessed his account, believing there was no indication that permission had been revoked.

She also revealed that the couple had shared passwords for their social media accounts and had access to each other’s devices.
Furthermore, Crooks confessed that Stephen had an indoor security camera that he used to monitor her.
However, after some time, Stephen confessed to sharing explicit images of women online from his account.
District Judge Anne Marshall closed the case by clearing Kirsty Crooks after considering both sides of the argument.
