Emily was discovered lifeless on September 14, 2024, at 210 East Carpool Lane, east of Haven Avenue.
Authorities have reported that the teenager jumped off the overpass, suggesting that she took her own life.

Emily Gold was a dedicated and generous student, actively participating in numerous extracurricular activities at her school.
The senior high school student was a member of both the Varsity Dance Team and the Varsity Cheer Squad.
Following the news of her sudden demise, a high school alumnus shared a heartfelt post on her Facebook, expressing wishes for her soul to rest in peace.
Further, the school has managed for immediate support through their Wellness Center for anyone who needs support.
Additionally, Emily was also a member of the Los Osos High School Varsity Dance Team that competed in America’s Got Talent 2024.
